List of Catchment Areas (Standard A) in Johor

In Johor, the catchment areas tabulated below are the upstream of water supply intakes of public water and also for the purpose of human consumption. Any discharge to these areas has to be strictly abide to maximum limit as per Standard A conditions as stated in Environmental Quality (Sewage) Regulations (2009). Any person who contravenes the aforementioned shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding RM100,000 or imprisonment for not exceeding 5 years or both.
